We started Primal Foods in 1999, as a mission driven organisation to reduce the toxins in our food system. In 20 years, that motivation has not changed.

In the beginning, it was ensuring that every certified organic grain that was grown found a home in the organic system. By giving organic grain farmers more options for selling their crops, we ensured that growers achieved the best possible price for their grain and at the same time provided companies access to certified organic grain.

Today, as the largest dedicated organic grain traders in Australia, our work is about building confidence – that growing organic companies will have reliable grain supply and that growers will confidence that they are getting the best price and service for the grain they produce.

We work with growers and companies in every state of Australia and export from every port. This is supplemented by our valued suppliers and customers in key growing and production regions around the world.
